Why "Milestone?"
A milestone is an event marking a significant change. In pediatric practice, of course I love to track developmental milestones. Whether it is a baby’s first smile, or an autistic child’s first time making eye contact with me in the office, these moments are special. It may be the last pack of diapers a family needs to buy, or the last temper tantrum a child has before they learn to apply a new behavior coping skill. These moments are all important and should be honored. Just like kids, milestones come in all shapes and sizes, and I enjoy celebrating them all with my patients!

I love being a quick text message away from a mom who is unsure how to handle baby’s first fever, or seasoned parents’ concerns about their child’s behavior.
